ULTIMATE DUCK HUNTING MULTIPLAYER TUTORIAL

If your PC is connected to a Linksys or D-Link router, you'll need to follow the very simple steps outlined in the tutorial below. We've tested it with our systems and it allows us to multiplay the game with our routers!!

Please tell other players about this tutorial so they can play online with us.

If you have a router such as Linksys or D-Link, you may have to manually adjust your firewall settings. Follow the steps below:

1) Get your private ip and router's ip
Go to Start -> Run, type "cmd", and click OK. The command shell should pop up. In it, type "ipconfig" and enter. The following should display:

Troubleshoot Ultimate Duck Hunting Multiplayer

The IP Address is your private ip.
The Default Gateway is your router's ip.

2) Open Internet Explorer
Type in your router's ip into the address bar and hit Enter. A login window may pop up. If you don't know your router's admin login/password, you may not have set it. Check your router's manual (for Linksys, the default username is left blank and the password is "admin"). You should now be in your router's setup page.

3) Port forwarding
Go to your Port Forwarding sections (in some Linksys menus, it's under Games and Applications) and fill in two rows. In the first row, use the range 7777 to 7777 and in the second row, use the range 28000 to 28001. Use both TCP and UDH. Complete the last digit(s) of the IP Address with the last digit(s) of your private ip that you obtained in Step 1. Make sure Enable is checked. Use the image below for reference (note: this screen looks different on different routers).

Click Apply and you're done. Ultimate Duck Hunting should now be able to communicate with the Master Server and other players wanting to host or join games.
